Nineteen Thousand Loads.
The Restructure
Three Specialist Divisions
North West Bulk is splitting one trading entity into divisions that each own a commodity set and a fleet type. Names below are provisional and still with NWB for sign-off.

Metallurgical & Mining Bulk
Chrome, manganese, iron ore and magnetite moved from pit to smelter, plant and port.

Agricultural & Industrial Bulk
Grains, fertiliser, limestone, gypsum, soda ash and aggregates between silo, works and depot.

Cross-Border & FMCG
Foodstuffs, consumer goods and building materials up the corridor into the DRC.
Twelve Months On The Road
The Numbers Behind It
173 side tippers and 54 PBS side tippers. RTMS and SQAS certified. Operating since 2006.
Since 2006
Built On One Corridor At A Time
North West Bulk Carriers started hauling for the mines around Vanderbijlpark in 2006. Twenty years later the fleet runs 227 vehicles and the routes reach the Copperbelt.
The group structure puts a named team, a dedicated fleet and a single point of contact behind each commodity set. Customers stop being routed through a general dispatch desk.
Tell us what needs moving.
Give our sales desk the commodity, the origin and the tonnage. You get a routing and a rate back, not a brochure.
